Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on the 13th of February, 1979) is an American actress fashion designer and model. Following a brief time as a fashion model and then a transition to acting by appearing as guest stars on TV shows like Boy Meets World in the 1990s and High Incident. She debuted in film with the show Nowhere, that was released in the year 1997. Her transition into major roles with her performances in American Beauty for which she received nominations for the BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered more attention. Her next appearance was in Loser (2000) which was a co-production with American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Later she played the role of the title character on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2002). In 2002, she appeared in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio and in 2004's thriller Trauma. Other appearances on HBO include the drama Six Feet Under. In 2008, Suvari was a part in a string of films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation film to The Garden of Eden.
