Alana and Alyssa

Alana De Garza's beautiful face has left an impression even on tiny screens. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing the career of a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas then moved to Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities such as local independent films and world-wide commercials. In spite of the minor parts, she realized that acting was her passion. The year 2001 saw her move from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Children's soap in the role of Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was on the short-lived 2004 series The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The role that she is most famous for was her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Following a brief run, her character migrated over to Law & Order: LA. The character she played has earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on a drama television show. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Deko and was also the the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two episodes the series was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are from Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. Her family was conservative and religious one. Milano was just seven years older when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. Milano was among four girls selected from among over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano was featured in commercials for TV and off Broadway programs, such as the American first musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
